Most of our pups are born on natural terrain which exposes them early to the elements of canines environment. This type of birth increases their immunity of disease, facilitate climate adjustment within the pup and naturally house breaks the pup where they  only use the bathroom on natural terrain or outside. Pups are delivered house broken in most cases. Pups are feed dry puppy food at 8 weeks old. We advise new owners to continue dry puppy food diet if puppy will reside inside of home.

Maintenance requirements for chow pups: Chow chow's shed twice a year. They require daily grooming and maybe cut or trimmed two times a year depending upon owner's desired look. At the time of coat trimming pup nails are trimmed as well. For many female pups during their heat cycle they like to dig, scratch, and gnaw. At this time, it is recommended to isolate puppy in kennel or outside. Chow chow puppy coats may darken or lighten as they age do not be alarmed. Female mane's are not as profound as their male counterpart.
